The Role

  • We are looking for a positive, energetic, self-driven and enthusiastic Sales Executive with a proven track record to join our team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining client records.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications:

  • Degree in any Business course
  • 5 years proven working experience in the OPTICAL industry
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Proficiency in English and Kiswahili to be able to liaise effectively to different stakeholders across the region.
  • Track record of over-achieving sales quota
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service focus
  • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
  • Basic administration skills
  • KCSE Certificate
  • Computer literate
