The Role
- We are looking for a positive, energetic, self-driven and enthusiastic Sales Executive with a proven track record to join our team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating leads.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understanding and promoting company programs.
- Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
- Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Maintaining client records.
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications:
- Degree in any Business course
- 5 years proven working experience in the OPTICAL industry
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English and Kiswahili to be able to liaise effectively to different stakeholders across the region.
- Track record of over-achieving sales quota
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service focus
- Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
- Basic administration skills
- KCSE Certificate
- Computer literate
