THE JOB
- As the Hotel Resort General Manager, you will oversee the operations of a luxury boutique hotel located on the beach. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences, smooth day-to-day operations, and optimal financial performance. You will play a key role in maintaining the unique charm and character of the hotel while driving standards of excellence in hospitality.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Guest Experience Management: Ensure personalized, high-quality guest services are delivered consistently. Address guest feedback promptly and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that enhances guest satisfaction.
- Operations Oversight: Oversee all operational aspects of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and guest services. Ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff. Develop schedules, delegate responsibilities, and ensure high morale and a productive working environment.
- Financial Management: Manage the hotel’s budget, control expenses, and work to maximize revenue through occupancy, upselling, and cost-effective management.
- Prepare financial reports for ownership.
- Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement strategies that promote the hotel, attract guests, and increase bookings. Foster relationships with local businesses and travel agencies.
- Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in providing outstanding customer service. Resolve guest issues and ensure a memorable stay that drives repeat business and positive reviews.
- Property Management: Maintain the property in pristine condition. Ensure that all areas, from guest rooms to common spaces, meet cleanliness and safety standards.
- Compliance: Ensure that the hotel operates in accordance with local regulations, health, and safety standards. Keep up to date with relevant legislation and industry standards
QUALIFICATIONS
The job holder should have the following qualifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in hospitality or hotel management is a plus
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Hotel Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar role within a boutique hotel or luxury property.
- Knowledge of hotel management software (PMS)
THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB

- Professional level of English is mandatory, second international language is a plus.
- Strong leadership and staff management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Passion for delivering personalized guest experiences and attention to detail
