Key responsibilities
Operational Management
- Responsible for all Design to be done as per Project Scope.
Planning
- Coordinate with the Planning Department to meet the deliverables timely.
People and Relationship Management
- Train, coach and manage performance effectively and continuously both with internal staff and consultants.
- Instil a one family culture and be an ambassador for the business vision, mission and values
- Ensure a culture of integrity and commitment to the clients, staff and all stakeholders associated with the Group business.
Reporting & Analysis
- Design Tracking report submission to Client and PM timely.
Budget Management
- Advise to PM and Commercial department with any potential cost impact due to Design changes, variation etc.
HSESS
- Demonstrate HSESS leadership by participating in the respective process by modeling appropriate HSESS behaviors.
- Show awareness of current HSESS performance and programs to reduce injuries.
Compliance
- Company policies and standard operating procedures
- All relevant laws and regulations
- Perform any other duties assigned.
Qualifications
- Education/Qualification: Engineering Degree
- Work experience: 15+ Years
- IT skills: High level of proficiency in MS Word and Excel. SAP Knowledge will be an added advantage
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English and Kiswahili
Key competencies and skills
- Experience and knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Design
- Knowledge of Design Software
- Good Liaison with Client and Vendors
- Experience of Construction Projects
