About The Role
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for mid to senior-level roles in the organisation by partnering with hiring managers and business leaders. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will also support the business in forecasting annual hiring needs by the department, developing a sustainable candidate sourcing and lead strategy and acting as a mentor to junior members of the talent acquisition team.
Responsibilities
- Manages the recruitment process from start to finish in adherence with Sama’s corporate objectives, and by utilizing all the necessary resources available to close requisitions;
- Partners with hiring managers and business leaders to identify and address hiring needs for East Africa and India regions;
- Conducts recruitment kickoff meetings with hiring managers at the start of a recruitment request;
- Sources, screens and assesses potential candidates through various channels (ATS, LinkedIn, other channels);
- Advises leaders on effective job descriptions & appropriate interview questions based on roles and responsibilities;
- Determines selection criteria & interview processes (competencies, screening calls, interviews, case studies, etc.) for requisitions;
- Conducts necessary interviews (screening, interviews, etc.) and partners with hiring managers to coordinate and evaluate necessary steps in the process.
- Determines appropriate offers based on candidate experience and departmental budget, and provides & negotiates offers to candidates;
- Consistently provides feedback to hiring managers and department leaders on recruitment status;
- Partners with senior leadership to forecast annual hiring needs by the department;
- Develops a sustainable candidate sourcing and lead strategy;
- Develops strong, long-term relationships with candidates to develop a pipeline of talent for future hiring needs;
- Responsible for developing creative recruitment strategies, including networking events, employer branding initiatives, etc.
- Act as a mentor to junior members of the talent acquisition team;
- Supports in hiring for North America and Europe regions when possible;
- Manages talent acquisition-related projects on a needs basis and when relevant to business needs;
Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resource Management or related field from a recognized university;
- 3 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or related field;
- Leadership skills and ability to influence hiring managers & cross-functional stakeholders;
- Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition processes and best practices;
- Impeccable judgment and business sense;
- Excellent written & spoken English, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Skillful in project planning/ tasks and able to prioritize projects/ tasks.
- Experience using applicant tracking and recruitment software.
