- Reports to: Section Head
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate nursing care.
- Administer treatments, medications, and vaccinations as prescribed
- Organize and participate in health promotion activities, including awareness campaigns on issues such as HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, and mental health.
- Ensure availability of medical supplies and ensure the availability of necessary medications and equipment.
- Counselling clients, patients, and staff under him/her.
- Provide support and guidance to students dealing with stress, substance abuse, or other health-related concerns
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Academic /Professional Requirements
For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:
- Diploma in Nursing
- Must be registered and licensed with the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Exemplary work performance.
- Experience: 1 year experience
