- We’re looking for our new Sales Representative in Kenya who will be responsible for customer relationships and performance of an assigned customer portfolio for a medium impact client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned customers; pursues and secures business in line with the business objectives.
- Probes and identifies customer needs and provides solutions.
- Builds a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base.
- Communicates significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned accounts.
- Researches and understands the territory to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers.
- Researches and analyses competitive and industry trends.
- Ensures customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality.
- Is typically responsible for medium impact customers to the business in any size cluster.
We are looking for:
- At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Experience in Inland Transportation, Maritime & Air.
- Experience in logistics desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, foreign trade or similar.
- Proactive.
- Strong communication skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and influence.
