About the job
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in field surveys, energy assessments and data collection to inform system design and optimization
- Participate in the installation and integration of hybrid energy grids.
- Conduct site preparation activities before installations – marking out, excavation, setting out of solar structures, mapping and pegging of powerline routes etc.
- Assist in preparing system layouts with CAD
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on smart grid systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to resolve technical issues.
- Document work performed and system statuses.
- Monitor and support the balancing of energy grid flows using the ESIOS
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
