Solar Consultant At Huawei Technologies – APPLY NOW

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the solar energy sector.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand Huawei’s solar energy solutions within Kenya
  • Identify and assess potential business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to drive market penetration and growth.
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of high-value deals and contracts with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders in the solar energy industry.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, legal, finance) to ensure the successful execution of solar energy projects.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept and proposal to implementation and post-project evaluation.
  • Drive sales growth by developing and implementing strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Work closely with the product development team to tailor Huawei’s solar energy solutions to meet the specific needs of the Kenya market.
  • Provide market feedback to the product team for continuous improvement and innovation of solar energy products.
  • Ensure all business activities comply with local regulations and Huawei’s policies and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with business development activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the solar energy or renewable energy sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing business strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and working with cross-functional teams.
