Business Development Manager At Crystal Recruit – APPLY NOW

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential clients and arrange meetings.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • Meet clients face-to-face or via phone.
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
  • Increase the value of existing customers while attracting new ones.
  • Find and develop new markets to improve sales.
  • Develop and present quotes and proposals.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders and close deals.
  • Develop growth strategies and plans.
  • Set and achieve goals for business development.
  • Attend conferences and industry events.
  • Follow industry trends locally and internationally.
  • Report on successes and areas needing improvement.
  • Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales marketing, business administration or related course.
  • Over 10 years of experience in business development/sales with regional sales experience
  • Understanding of the financial ecosystem and financial technologies in East Africa, especially in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
  • Relevant experience from SW/technology companies, fintech, or financial institutions focused on digital banking or global transactions.
  • Must have a previous regional responsibility in East African markets.
