- This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Consultant at Dial Afrika. The Business Development Consultant will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, consulting with clients, effective communication, and business planning on a day-to-day basis.
Job Description:
- Strategic Sales Development: Identify target markets, develop sales strategies, and establish plans for growth within new and existing markets.
- Prospecting and Client Engagement: Proactively engage in prospecting activities, including cold calls, emails, and meetings, to create and nurture a pipeline of potential clients.
- Proposal Development and Pitching: Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing Dial Afrika’s unique value propositions.
- Consulting on Business Growth: Work closely with the leadership team to recommend business strategies and suggest improvements to increase market share and client retention.
- Contract Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations to close deals that align with business goals and ensure mutually beneficial client agreements.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key sales metrics, provide insights on opportunities for growth, and identify areas for improvement.
- Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for Dial Afrika, representing the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and conferences.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business development or consulting roles within a B2B setting, ideally in technology or BPO industries.
- Proven track record in sales growth and market expansion.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in MS Office.
