Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Bakery Chef at Kingfisher Nest Hotel, located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Bakery Chef will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with baking and pastry preparation in our hotel. This includes preparing and baking a variety of pastries, bread, and other baked goods, ensuring high quality and presentation standards are met. The Bakery Chef will also collaborate with other kitchen staff to create menus and maintain proper inventory levels.

• Experience in baking and pastry preparation
• Knowledge of different baking techniques and recipes
• Attention to detail and high standards for taste and presentation
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with kitchen staff
• Time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks

• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain inventory levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus
