- Collaborate in multi-business tender preparation and consolidate technical and financial data.
- Analyze simple to complex RFQs within the core business and prepare workable solutions.
- Coordinate with the sales and engineering teams to prepare proposals for the range of SE products.
- Act as the company’s internal contact point for the customer during the enquiry and bidding process.
- Develop, negotiate, and confirm contract specifications with clients, in-group and out-group suppliers, contractors, and OEM companies.
- Handle the costing process as part of the quotation process.
- Use standard quotation and pricing tools within the tendering process to produce quotations.
- Manage global tender risk analysis with multi-functional teams, Solution Risk Managers (SRMs), and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Review and approve tender price/costing estimates and submit for management approval by the tendering processes.
- Perform and initiate risk analysis on projects and ensure alignment with SE Business Policies.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, and safety regulations and professional standards.
- Submit detailed responses to enquiry documentation and respond to any subsequent requests and clarifications.
- Support sales teams in negotiations with customers and convert opportunities to purchase orders.
- Clarify purchase order receipt and prepare detailed handover documentation for project execution.
- Monitor and review the performance of the tendering process through preassigned KPIs.
- Perform lessons learned analysis on both won and lost opportunities. Contribute to quotation tool improvements.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably in tendering or bid management.
