Regional Sales Team Leader Job At Winnie’s Pure Health

Job Purpose:

The Team Leader is responsible for increasing regional sales revenue as per set targets by supervising, coordinating and facilitating visibility and availability of product portfolio. She/he, in coordination and liaison with Regional Trade Developers; will ensure effective region coverage and growth, account servicing and maintenance; against set deliverables.

Region Placement:

National (Base – Nairobi) – 1

Responsibilities (Functions and duties):

  • Monitor and align territory sales activities to overall Company business plan and growth objectives; and assess performance track recorded on a quarterly basis
  • Achieve territory sales targets for product ranges; and formulate strategies for correcting short falls identified
  • Address sales performance for the territory sales Channels, Supermarkets, Mega dealer and Direct Sales teams
  • Ensure smooth process of Customer Acquisition and Retention and monitor order generations facilitated for new and existing accounts; and conduct follow up on non-activity accounts
  • Managing relationships with territory channels partners to ensure delivery on sales targets; and continuously seek to implement measures for support provision to ensure sustained growth
  • Leading teams by ensuring shared vision; aimed at achieving brand objectives and positioning in the market
  • Implement route to market strategy and ensure sales targets are attained; and further facilitate effective region coverage
  • Address the month’s sales gaps and ensure continuous delivery; while accounting for variances realized and facilitating measures for continuous improvement
  • Provide market intelligence reports including pictorial presentations of product placement in the market against competitors
  • Study territory sales market trends and make appropriate recommendations for improving our overall sales approach
  • Work within set/approved activity monthly budgets and plan for contingency measures and provisions for un-planned/un- foreseen events
  • Physical visits/travel within the territory to assess the performance of our sales channels and the markets
  • Submit monthly sales performance reports versus targets for the month and sales plans for the subsequent month and budget to deliver the sales targets
  • Generate overall territory sales and distribution plan for the subsequent financial period
  • Timely generate and submit, daily, weekly and monthly sales’ activity reports for the territory; to Management s per set timelines provided
  • Any other duties not necessarily mentioned which are in line with the position as a Regional Team Leader

Over Three (3) years’ experience in Sales and Marketing field; in a similar role in the FMCG Industry

Education and specialist Knowledge Required:

  • Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing or any other relevant field
  • Customer Service/ Public Relations Certificate
  • Computer Proficiency especially on Microsoft packages
