Gross Salary: 20-25k plus Commissions,

M-Edge Consultant Limited is a professional events management and wedding planning company, we are looking for Marketing Executive who will be involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote a product, service, or idea. 

Responsibilities

Marketing: % Of Time: 50%

  • Creating awareness of the organization’s products to the existing and new markets.
  • Market the company and meet the set sales targets.
  • Negotiating product terms with the clients.
  • Marketing the organization’s products.
  • Collecting the relevant information for building and updating the customers’ database.
  • Assisting in laying down marketing strategies.
  • Identifying the potential prospects.
  • Identifying tenders the company can consider.
  • Filling and filing copies of tenders and making sure they have been delivered to the respective companies in good time.
  • Participating in-market campaigns, expos, and promotions.
  • Providing management with regular marketing intelligence.
  • Handling clients’ inquiries.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans.
  • Providing regular sales reports to the management as required.
  • Any other role as assigned by the supervisor.

Operations & Customer Care: % Of Time: 40%

  • Prepare quotations sourced from the marketing strategy within 24 hours.
  • Prepare daily call logs and email logs
  • Submit marketing reports daily
  • Carry out follow-up calls 48 hours after quotations have been sent to the clients and submit the reports daily.
  • Supervision at event setups.
  • Support the company in other activities, as required e.g planning, developing, and implementing PR strategies.
  • Update contacts made through networking either with other event vendors.
  • Preparing a database of all walk-in event vendors, and/or inquiries from any event organizer.
  • Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople.
  • Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation.
  • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships.
  • Sourcing advertising opportunities.
  • Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions
  • Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups.
  • Any other role as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Provision of quotations as per the set targets.
  • Carry out follow-ups as per the schedule.

Research: % Of Time:10%
Research on ways to promote the company’s products and relations.

Evaluation

  • Excellent presentation of ideas to the management.
  • Conversion of ideas to cash flow.

Skill & Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Communications/Sales & Marketing.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Sales & Marketing Executive.
  • Experience in a similar role is highly encouraged.
  • Proven presentation skills.
  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify potential problems before they occur.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated capacity for self-organization.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Conversant with computer applications.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • A strong team player.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Be a person of Moral standing.
  • Willing and able to travel when and if required to do so.
