QUALIFICATIONS,REQUIREMENTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Requirements For appointment:-

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution
• Suitability Test for drivers;
• Valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s) for class (es) of vehicle(s) an officer is required to drive;
• At least three (3) years driving experience; and
• Attended a first aid certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week at St. John Ambulance or any other recognized Institution;

Duties and Responsibilities: –

• Drive a motor vehicle as authorized;
• Carry out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical and brakes systems, tyre pressure;
• Detect and report malfunctioning of vehicle systems;
• Maintain work tickets for vehicle assigned;
• Ensure security and safety for the vehicle on and off the road;
• Ensure safety of the passengers and or/goods therein; and
• Ensure cleanliness of the machines and tools.
