Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety of aircraft, its occupants and cargo begins from the time he takes control of the aircraft and ends when he hands over the aircraft to the authorized ground personnel or the next flight crew taking charge.
• Ensure that the pre-flight inspection has been carried out, and decide whether or not to accept the aircraft with Unserviceability allowed by the MEL.

Ensure that all mechanical irregularities occurring during flight time are-

• Reported to the operator at the termination of the flight;
• Entered in the technical log of the aircraft at the end of that flight time

Qualifications

Minimum experience as follows:

• Direct Entry Pilot in commands
• Valid Type Rating Group I for the aircraft
• Valid Radio Telephony License
• Valid Recurrent and Training Checks
• 5000 Hrs – Total flight time
• 1500 Hrs – Pilot in Command
• 1000 Hrs – Turbine time
• 500 Hrs – Pilot in Command on type
